  1. Is the Asus the one that you can put one on each floor and have total coverage. Here are some solid options Shadola: http://www.netgear.com/orbi/ https://www.asus.com/ca-en/AiMesh/ http://ca.dlink.com/products/connect/covr-3902-ac3900-whole-home-wi-fi-system/ https://store.google.com/product/google_wifi That is all I got for now.
  2. All I can say is HOLY SHITBALLS. Didn't see this one coming as it's just been over a month, and the game is in early access too. MS would be smart to lock this one up as an exclusive for their platform. Anyhow, that's a lot of players in a very short time.
  3. The GameCube controller was just down right weird....there, I said it. In terms of the Hori controller, you are indeed right. I know they have a wired one, but didn't know the newest one was wireless.
  4. For a PS4 controller, that is kinda sexy. I do like me the offset thumbsticks too, given I am so used to the Xbox One controller. Funny how their "pro" like controller has Xbox like sticks. It is wired though, and though it wouldn't be an issue for me where I do my majority of gaming, wonder if a Wireless one is in the works. :-)
  5. For me and the Switch, it is mostly Physical, given the small storage space on the machine, and I like to have those neat looking little cases. That being said, I do by the smaller titles digitally, but they don't take up too much space.
  6. I have mixed thoughts on this. For one, it really is a cool idea and can help the 'average' gamer who doesn't want to plop down the full price of a game get the experience of a first party title right off the get-go. The other thing I wonder though is how this affects developers. How do they make their money then given that the game will be on a 'subscription' service. What is not stopping a consumer to play to play here, subscribe for 3 months, MS gets the subscription money, and they play the game for 3 months, plus a few others. What does the actual developer see? Finally, for those that don't want to pay for another subscription service, and buys their games outright, how does this affect them. Do they feel slighted, mad, or whatever. Just my 2 1/2 cents worth.
  7. Another updated video of the game in action. The more I watch them, the more I think its arcade like gameplay could be kinda fun, as long as there is a nice variance in tracks and events. Anyhow, here's the video:
  8. What I love about this idea, is it is based on Cardboard, and when you think about it, Nintendo is one such company that can get away with selling cardboard to gamers, and sell it for a price that makes a substantive profit. Oh those crazy kids at the office of the Big 'N" Kirby Y
  9. Who doesn't love food.....and of course bacon. I am all in too see what you have to offer up for scrumptious food ideas. Kirby Y
  10. Hey Folks, It's taken me a bit of time to get in here and post some basic thoughts. In terms of what Shad said, It's true, community is still important to us. Of course he and I have been down this road before, that being creating a website for gamers to come too, Unfortnuately, for one reason or another, the original concept and idea got lost, but Shad continued to have the concept floating in that 'noggin' of his. I am pretty happy to be a part of it, as I see his vision, and of course who can forget what Sam and Luc bring to the table as well. Luc noted that he didn't know why I am here, which I know in many ways he is joking, but I do wonder myself. That being said, I've always been proud to be a Canadian Gamer, and to be able to bring websites and groups from all around the country to one spot, and allow people to go where their passion suits them, be it Nintendo, Sony, Xbox or tech like TV's, Audio Systems, etc....or heck, even a place to find MP games (Xbox Playdates), is very appealing to me. I plan to keep doing my stuff with Xbox Addict, as that is where my gaming passion is; however, I look forward to helping out the original 3 (Luc, Sam & Shad) as we move forward with this project. On that note, here's to #gamecanadian, and let's have some fun with it. Kirby Y
  11. I have to say I am surprised no one started a thread on this already. The announcement of the Nintendo Labo sets was very much a shock to me. To tell you the truth, I am still somewhat digesting the concept, but it is interesting to say the least. And the fact that they all are cardboard is even more of a surprise, and something I am indeed interested to see how well it lasts. Anyhow, the video is below for all to see what I am talking about (if you haven't seen it already).
  12. Call me crazy, but this kinda interests me. GIven they've updated it for the Xbox One play too.
  13. Not on the west coast fool. We rarely have a Winter..........and yes, I WANT SNOW DAMMIT. Outtie
  14. I chalk it up to an almost more realistic view of the world, as the game was pretty saturated to begin with. I wonder if the new code bring the colours down a notch or two (less pop) to bring it in line with more real colours of the world. Who knows though, as I am just a guy who likes to game. On that note, here is quite the analysis of the Xbox One X version compared to the game running on PC. I have to say that DAMN, Digital Foundry knows how to analyze the heck out of things, but I also have to say that seeing the similiarities, and slight differences, I am very impressed with what Playground Games have done here.
  15. Me too, I am home but working on our site to post news and get things in order for the day. But I can't wait to check it out......
  16. Without any hope, I'd just die my friend (thought of the day from The Outcast) On that note, new video for Gravel is out, and looking interesting again. Enjoy Peeps. Kirby Y
  17. Yeah, it is a dream of mine that Microsoft allow Playground Games to resurrect the Rallisport Games from the OG Xbox. I could only imagine how good those would be. Kirby Y
  18. Square Enix is publishing a racing game that is developed by Milestone, and it's a car based game with a VERY arcade focus. It has lots of off road tracks and looks like it could be fun. I played it at PAX West last year, and thought it really did show promise. Anyhow, on that note, check out the latest video below. Kirby Y
  19. Hey All, Haven't been around lately, as real life, and some website life, has taken control, so I haven't been able to cruise the net the way I like too, and catch up with you all. On that note, I sure do hope every one had a great Christmas a few weeks ago, and that their new years was fun too. So, with that being said, what are people looking forward too in general, and in gaming, for 2018. And oh yeah, what a great World Junior Hockey Showing by team Canada eh? Cheers, Kirby Y
  20. Dude, you are so right. I am still noticing things in COD: WWII that makes me realize how good of a job they did to optimize the game to look great on the X1X. And every time I fire up FM7, I can't believe how good the interiors of the look. I am doing a race series in old open cockpit cars, and man, the detail right down to the metal plate with the car's name on it in the cockpit is amazing (how real looking the metal is). Personally, I am happy with the Xbox One X so far, and watching comparison videos of Xbox One X vs. PS4 Pro, which the PS zealots defended as being the so power, which indeed is a powerful machine, and how the X1X is clearly coming out on top. Man, they say there is not enough difference in PS4 pro vs. X1X to make it worthwhile. What I find funny about that is that when X1 fans said there wasn't much difference between 900p and 1080p, the Sony faithful crucified them. Now when the tables are turned, they are saying not much difference between the two resolutions (4K vs checker boarding or under 4K) to make a difference, when in reality, some of the differences are MUCH larger than 900p vs 1080p. Outtie
  21. Personally, I my Xbox One X, though I really don't know if it is for everyone. I can personally vouch for the Supersampling though. I played it during the past weekend on my GAEMS M240 and you could see more detail than when using the 'S'. Sure' it wasn't 4K quality, but it was fairly sharp. For me, I've been playing COD:WWII, and I have to say that it looks great for a COD game. There is a lot of detail in the MP maps (haven't played SP yet). And Shad's thoughts of Forza Motorsport 7 are spot on. Damn it looks GREAT, right down the reflecting lights on a wet track. Loading times are improved for sure. All in all, I like what we've got so far, and I can't wait to see what happens in the future. Outtie
  22. Yeah, I am interested to see what all the hype is all about. It will be interesting though, as console players won't have any aim assist, which is generally implemented in FPS games due to the fact that a Mouse & Keyboard are so much more accurate and easier to use in many ways. It will be an interesting preview game that is for sure... Kirby Y
  23. I think that is the part of the fun of it. Just Sayin'
  24. We posted this trailer on our website today. Gotta say that this game somewhat intrigues me....given it's not a track based type driving game. Anyhow, check out the trailer below:
